Filming update

On the 26/01/16 Ellise and I are planning to go on another film shoot to gain some footage by the River Themes and Victoria park in order to complete the inivasion of our music video between the two friends. Showing the progression of their doomed friendship. In order to do this we will use black and white with some of the footage to show how the relationship progressions from bad to worse.

Ideas for CD cover

Today our focus was our CD cover desgin. We decided to make a rough brainstorm of ideas. The ideas ranged from a reflection of London city in the river themes to half of the two characters faces put together as the central image. We have decided to draw a range of designs to properly and somehow merge them together as we believe they represent the theme and style of our music video, thus meeting the needs of our target audience. 

Practice shot Time lapse

On the 9/01/16 me and Ellise decided to go filming and got a shot of a time-lapse in mare street. We decided that throughout our video we wanted clips of time-lapses to show a passing of time between the two friends and to add to the theme of it.

We made a list of all of the different shot we plan to shoot for our video, we tried to plan them out so that it would be clear to us and allows us to visualise the shots better. 

Filming- 9th January 2016

For this filming location we went to Westfield, Stratford. Whilst here we set out to get an array of shot showing the two (friends) characters. What we did whilst we where there was, we had an idea of the types of shots we wanted to get however we made sure to try a range of different angles, some high, low, zoomed in/out, from in front from behind to see which ones worked best for the video.

Earlier on in the day we went to Hackney Town hall. Whilst we were there be practiced using time lapses. Again whilst we were here we did a few practices from different angles and even monitored the lengths of time we would run the shot for. Our end result worked out quite well however it would be an interesting experiment to see how well it works running at different speeds.   

Problems we faced whilst filming;

-       On the day it was raining quite hard so it limited use to what and where we could film.

- We did set out to do a lot of outdoor filming but due to the rain we had to limit ourselves to doing indoor filming
